OFFICIAL NEWS: panthers past pre-draft that signed by Buffalo Bills in NFL free agency in 2024.
Buffalo Bills may consider three past pre-draft visitors in NFL free agency in 2024.
On Monday, March 11 at 12 p.m. EST, the NFL’s window for legal tampering in free agency will open. When free agency officially opens on Wednesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. EST, we will know where a few players will sign in a matter of hours.
Although the Buffalo Bills aren’t anticipated to make a lot of free agent acquisitions, that doesn’t mean they can’t go after a few players who are in need. Buffalo may choose to select players after doing extensive research on them during the draft, even though the Bills may try to keep some of their current players. Following his appointment as general manager of the Bills, Brandon Beane has held virtual or top-30 meetings with a variety of candidates. Now, a few of those players will strike
Here are three former pre-draft visitors that Beane might target in free agency. Originally drafted by the Jaguars (2018–2021), Chark has spent the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions (2022) and Carolina Panthers (2023). Despite playing in poor offenses, the 27-year-old has posted a respectable 35–525–5 stat line.
Though his best season was 2019 (73–1-0,008–8), Chark could still be a target for teams that pass on top receiver targets. Chark’s size (6 feet 3 inches) and quickness (4.34 40-yard dash) could appeal to Buffalo if the price is right.
Dorance Armstrong is another 2018 pre-draft visitor who is expected to become a free agent. Since every team is trying to improve their pass-rush, Armstrong should have some success in free agency. The former pass-rusher for the Dallas Cowboys just finished a season in which he recorded 12 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks, and 38 total tackles. Armstrong achieved a career-high of 8.5 sacks in 2022, suggesting that the 26-year-old is finally finding his footing as a pass rusher at the ideal moment.
