Orleans Saints CB breaks NFL by leaving because…

CB Isaac Yiadom is traveling to California.

Isaac Yiadom’s agent, AJ Vaynerchuk, revealed yesterday on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the cornerback will be signing a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers. The amount San Francisco will pay Yiadom is unknown.
The New Orleans Saints have lost a great player in Isaac Yiadom.

He spent the majority of his career as a journeyman before agreeing to join the Saints practice squad in 2022. Because cornerback Marshon Lattimore missed time due to an ankle injury, he was promoted from the practice squad, and this past season turned out to be his finest since 2020. In five games, he would record 37 total tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery.

Because Lattimore’s return to the Saints is unknown, the cornerback room is already precarious. The absence of him is adding to the uncertainty in the cornerback room, which heightens the importance of these final few weeks before the draft.
