Colorado football stars man $5 .6 million mansion destroyed by fire
Coach Prime’s sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, bought their father a house in the foothills between Golden and Boulder because — according to The Denver Gazette’s Woody Paige, perhaps with some sarcasm involved — the Colorado football head coach rebuilt the Buffs offensive line.
“Shedeur Sanders returns for one more season as the quarterback, and he will earn more than anyone else in college football and several NFL quarterbacks with NIL guarantees totaling above $5 million,” Paige prefaced before saying, “He is rumored to be on the cover of the EA Sports NCAA Football 25 video game and could be the No. 1 quarterback pick in the NFL Draft next year.
“He and brother Shilo bought dad a house for luring an entirely new offensive line to CU to protect ‘Sad-Sacked Shed’ Sanders. The elder Sanders also concentrated on defensive linemen and edge rushers in recruiting 24 portable portals. The Buffs lost 16 players who transferred.”
BuffsBeat’s Mark Mcintosh isn’t sold on Coach Prime staying in Boulder even with his new mansion in tow.
“I found myself chuckling out loud learning that the Hall of Fame player and second-year coach of the Colorado Buffaloes has three sons footing the bill for a nice pad for their ol’ man to settle in for years at the foot of the Flatirons,” Mcintosh prefaced before saying, “Could it be true? Sanders is gonna stick for a bit and not bolt as soon as talented sons finish CU careers and head for the pros?”
Deion Sanders can claim, until he’s blue in the face, that he’s staying at Colorado for the long haul, but no one is ever going to believe him. Staying at Jackson State for just three seasons, after claiming he’d change the game for HBCUs, has lost much of the public’s trust.
