Browns are a candidate that should be considered if their injuries don’t heal completely.
The Cleveland Browns have a proven track record of producing a solid offensive line, even in their worst moments of losing games. The Browns ran out groups with Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Kevin Zeitler, Mitchell Schwartz, Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, Jack Conklin, Eric Steinbach, and many others while the rest of the league struggled on the line.
Although the 2024 line appears to be well determined, Cleveland may experience a change after the season. Conklin has suffered three serious leg injuries, Bitonio is entering the latter stages of his career, and Jedrick Wills is in the last year of his deal.
It’s possible that the offensive line may be given more consideration than many fans believe going into the 2024 NFL draft. Because of his recuperation from a quad injury, this makes OL Kiran Amegadjie a possible target for the Browns, who were mentioned as a possible fit later on Day 2 of the draft:
The offensive line prospect is ready to try out for teams after recovering for five months.
At the combine, Amegadjie told reporters, “My quad is feeling really good.” “On April 3, I’ll be prepared for a pro day.” I’m practicing my running and jumping positions. I feel so powerful right now. Amegadjie is a 6’5″, 323-pound prospect with 36-inch arms when healthy. His length and mobility allow him to continue at offensive tackle, but depending on where he ends up, he might also see time at guard.
For a considerable amount of time, the Browns could reestablish their tackle position if general manager Andrew Berry and new offensive line coach Andy Dickerson believe Amegadjie can start as their left tackle in 2025 or that Dawand Jones can fall over into his third season.
