MyCole Pruitt, a tight end, signed a one-year contract with the Steelers.

Entering his tenth season, Pruitt has participated in 109 games in his career, 39 of which he has started. With 71 receptions, he has 9 touchdowns and 748 yards gained.

Arthur Smith, the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, where Pruitt played for the previous two seasons.

He participated in 30 games while in Atlanta, starting 12. In two seasons, he caught 25 passes for 260 yards and five touchdowns.

He played with the Tennessee Titans for almost four seasons (2018–21) before signing with the Falcons, where he was coached by Smith, who was first the offensive coordinator and subsequently the tight ends coach. He participated in 57 Titans games.

After the 2013 and 2014 seasons, he was selected as a consensus First-Team All-American and was named the FSC Tight End of the Year by the CFPA in both of those seasons.
