SHOCKING BRUTAL NEWS: New York Giant send a brutal sack announcement t0 two top WR due to…

If the Giants are unable to select a quarterback, they will settle for a top wide out prospect.

The New York Giants, who are linked to almost every elite quarterback and multiple elite receivers, are preparing for a pivotal first round of the draft on Thursday. Giants’ Prospective Selections and Draft Strategy

The Giants are currently considering a few different approaches: taking a chance on Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy, going big for Drake Maye of UNC, or going with the best receiver available. Last week, general manager Joe Schoen disclosed that he has been contacted by several people on the possibility of trading back, which might become an option if the top quarterbacks are already selected. If the New England Patriots are willing to go down, the Giants may also take advantage of a situation where they may get Maye by paying future draft picks. With the 6th overall pick, Schoen might present a blue-chip prospect to a team that wants to move down instead of going into the mid-first round, where there is a noticeable decline in talent.

But if the Giants miss out on a quarterback, they are very seriously considering Malik Nabers with the sixth overall pick, according to Connor Hughes of SNY.”Several sources tell SNY that the Giants are interested in Nabers as a player. Most in the league believe that if New York can’t find a quarterback, which is looking less and less likely every day, they will select him. The Malik Nabers Case
Nabers would be an excellent choice for the Giants, who have been without a legitimate wide receiver for the past five years. This 20-year-old receiver had a 69.5% reception rate and only a 5.3% drop rate last season, accumulating 1,568 yards and 14 touchdowns. With 589 yards after the catch in 2023 at an average of 6.6 yards per reception, Nabers is one of the top after-the-catch receivers in this draft class. He shines in every aspect of the game.

Nabers received all-around excellent scores in terms of receiving depth. He caught 65.5% of the passes aimed at him on downfield throws of 20 yards or more, gaining 624 yards and nine touchdowns. While the Giants continue to search for a long-term quarterback solution, even Daniel Jones could leverage Nabers’ talents to an extent. However, drafting Nabers might delay addressing the quarterback situation, especially as the Giants aim to move beyond Jones’ contract after the 2024 season.
