Latrell Allmond, a 2026 Top 50 prospect, receives an offer from Louisville.

Louisville has offered a scholarship to a top-tier big man in the class of 2026. The Cardinals made the offer to Latrell Allmond, a center from Richmond, Virginia’s John Marshall High School, on Tuesday night.

According to 247Sports’ prospect rankings, 6-foot-8, 205-pound Allmond is ranked as the 34th overall player in the Class of 2026.A long list of programs that LSU, Florida State, Georgetown, LSU, Mississippi State, NC State, Ole Miss, Providence, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and several more have offered now includes Louisville. Because of Thomas Carr, the new assistant coach, and his time spent with Team Loaded on the adidas AAU circuit, UofL is connected.

Allmond helped guide John Marshall to a Virginia state title last season, totaling seven points, 13 rebounds, three blocks and three steals in the championship game.

247Sports also ranks Allmond as the No. 4 center in the country and the No. 3 prospect in Virginia. The 247Sports Composite ratings have Allmond as the No. 3 center nationally in the 2026 class.
