The Dallas Cowboys head into the 2023 NFL season as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl due to having one of the best rosters in the NFL according to pundits.
According to Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, this year’s team is the most talented of his Dallas tenure.
“To give you a comparable, it’s definitely the best of the four years,” says McCarthy.
The Cowboys bring back a majority of their starters from last season and have added players like Stephon Gilmore, Mazi Smith and Brandin Cooks to fill out the roster.
McCarthy said the mix of young and veteran talent and how those players mesh is critical to winning a championship.
McCarthy is excited about the culture the team has built.
“I feel great about our culture, I had a chance to have dinner last night with the leadership council,” said McCarthy, “ I’m so impressed with our leadership group.”
