Jeremy Clements Racing made waves in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with their recent announcement that they are
shaking up their team for the 2025 season. The team confirmed the signing of experienced crew chief Kase
Kallenbach in an effort to revitalize their performance with the No. 51 car. This follows the departure of Mark Setzer,
who concluded his four-year tenure with Jeremy Clements Racing. Jeremy Clements Racing, rooted in Spartanburg,
South Carolina, has been a fixture in NASCAR since its founding in 2010 by driver Jeremy Clements and his father,
Tony. The team, which fields the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro SS in the Xfinity Series, has seen its share of triumphs and
challenges over the years. The recent departure of Mark Setzer marks the end of an era in which the team achieved
significant milestones under his leadership. Despite impressive successes, the team struggled in recent seasons,
managing just one top-10 finish and ending the last two campaigns with overall standings of 19th and 20th. Jeremy
Clements reflected on Setzer’s contributions: “Mark [Setzer] has done a lot to help grow our program here at JCR.
“We have had some memorable moments with him on the pit box for sure, and I am grateful for all his hard work
over the last four seasons. We wish him nothing but the best in whatever comes next.” With Setzer’s departure,
Jeremy Clements Racing has turned to Kase Kallenbach to take over as crew chief for the 2025 season. Kallenbach, a
native of Powderville, South Carolina, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to the role. His career
in the Xfinity Series spans 177 starts, with highlights including a top-five finish and three top-10s, most recently
achieving success at Michigan in 2024 with Caesar Bacarella. Having worked with teams like Alpha Prime Racing
and JD Motorsports, Kallenbach’s diverse experience is expected to infuse new energy into Jeremy Clements Racing
. Clements commented: “I am looking forward to working with Kase [Kallenbach] this coming season, with his
previous experience as crew chief in the Xfinity Series it should help us battle for race wins and chase an Xfinity
Series Championship.” The debut of the new partnership between Jeremy Clements and Kase Kallenbach is set for
February 15, 2025, at the Daytona International Speedway.
