To All of Our Hendrick Motorsports Team Members,
I am writing to address a very important decision that has been made within our organization. After careful consideration, Rick Hendrick has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the operations of five (5) drivers under the Hendrick Motorsports banner. This suspension will begin on April 13, 2025, and conclude on June 13, 2025.
This is not a decision that was made lightly. As you know, Hendrick Motorsports has always strived for excellence, both on and off the track. Our reputation is built on a foundation of integrity, respect, and a shared commitment to success. However, there are times when tough decisions must be made in order to protect the long-term future of our organization.
The suspension is a result of ongoing issues that require immediate attention and resolution. While the specifics of the circumstances are being handled internally, we felt it necessary to take action to maintain the integrity of our team and the sport. We want to ensure that we remain a leader in the motorsport community and continue to uphold the values that have guided us for decades.
During this suspension period, we will be making adjustments to our operations to ensure minimal disruption. The affected drivers will temporarily step away from competition, allowing for a focused effort to address the matters at hand. We are confident that, through these actions, we will come out of this stronger and more united as a team.
While this period will certainly present challenges, I have no doubt that our team will continue to demonstrate the resilience and dedication that has been our hallmark. We have faced adversity before, and together we will face it again. We are a family here at Hendrick Motorsports, and it is important that we support one another during this time.
Rick Hendrick, along with the leadership team, is committed to ensuring that this suspension is used as an opportunity for growth and improvement. We remain focused on delivering results both on the track and as an organization. It is our goal to return to full operations as quickly as possible and continue to build on our legacy of success.
I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your continued hard work, dedication, and passion. It is your commitment that has made Hendrick Motorsports the powerhouse that it is today, and it is because of you that I am confident in our ability to overcome any challenge.
We will continue to provide updates as necessary, and I ask for your continued support as we navigate through this period. Together, we will emerge stronger and more determined than ever.
