Done Deal: The Cowboys Head Coach Completed the Signing of an Incredible Jewel (RB) which went viral

Dear Dak Prescott: Advises Rival and Signs Cowboys Discount Contract Ron Rivera
‘Help Them Out’ and Sign Dallas Cowboys Discount Contract, Suggested to Long-Time rival Ron Rivera
FRISCO: The Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott are nowhere near to reaching an agreement on the much-anticipated new contract because neither team is putting any effort into reaching a contractual meeting of the minds. Ron Rivera is therefore giving some guidance on how to resolve that.

Regarding the idea that the Dallas quarterback would accept a team-friendly contract, Rivera stated, “I think that would be really good for him and for the Cowboys.”

Why is “Riverboat Ron” acting this way?

In addition to strengthening their running game, they also need to strengthen their offensive line by signing a team-friendly contract,” stated Rivera on NFL Live as he transitions into his new role as head coach of the Washington Commanders. “Go on, Dak, and show the team some friendliness. Assist them. Because it will benefit you even more and increase your chances of being the best version of yourself.”

Rivera’s point: Prescott giving the Cowboys a “hometown discount” would make it much simpler financially for Dallas to rebuild their squad, since All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, Pro Bowl starting center Tyler Biadasz, and Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard are all due to become free agents.

Prescott, through his agent Todd France, is rumored to be seeking an extension that would make the quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history—roughly $60 million annually. It appears that the two parties have not spoken much, if at all, with the Cowboys stating that they feel comfortable enough with France/Prescott that they don’t see the need for a face-to-face meeting.

Prescott, meantime, has voiced confidence that a solution will be reached; in fact, his most recent statement may even be interpreted as a sign that he is amenable to Rivera’s recommendations.

Dak said, “I’m really sure of myself. It’s beneficial to the group and crucial for the statistics. Both parties are aware that this is a process. Everything is excellent. It will occur.
Dallas, which is now cap-compliant as a result of its “flipping of the switch” on Zack Martin’s contract, is aware that it has options if Prescott continues to be unreasonable in his demands. However, without a modification to Dak’s current contract, which in its last year now calls for an enormous $59.4 million cap cost, it will be challenging to upgrade the roster.

“I’m not talking about bottom-basement bargain,” declared Rivera. I am referring to the process of arriving at a sound conclusion that benefits both your team and yourself.
