A-Day welcomed more than 72,000 fans into Bryant-Denny Stadium. Plenty of signees, recruits and a few 2025 commits were in Tuscaloosa as well to usher in the first spring scrimmage of the Kalen DeBoer era.

“Everyone knows the type of great program that Alabama has been,” Johnson told 247Sports before his decision. “Honestly, Alabama has always been my dream school, but the fact that they have shown me and my family so much love really brought it all together for me.
Cincinnati has found insurance for its punting position with a familiar face, landing Aussie-style punter Max Fletcher out of the transfer portal from Arkansas.

Spring ball was nearing its end for Georgia last week as the Bulldogs capped off their final three practice sessions. That week also coincided with the final week of the quiet period, after which recruiting should pick up a bit for the Bulldogs.
The quiet period — during which the only way that college coaches can have face-to-face contact with prospects or their parents is when they’re on their respective college campus — ended on Sunday. The calendar now shifts to the contact period, which runs through May 25 and allows coaches to contact athletes and their families through any NCAA-approved methods.
