After losing running back Saquon Barkley to the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year deal worth up to $46.75M with $26 million guaranteed, the New York Giants quickly shifted focus and signed former Bills and Texans running back Devin Singletary to a three-year, $16.5M deal worth up to $19.5M with incentives, a max APY of $6.5 million.
Singletary, 26 years old, had 898 rushing yards on 216 attempts and four touchdowns, averaging 4.2 yards per carry. He also added 30 catches for 193 yards, bringing his total to over 1,000 scrimmage yards in 2023.
He has been consistent throughout his career, having over 1,000 yards from scrimmage in the last three seasons. Another intriguing part of Singletary’s career is that he’s been able to stay healthy, playing at least 16 games per season since 2020.
