In the 2023-24 regular season Bryant finished playing all 17 games and finished with 13 receptions for 81 yards and scored three receiving touchdowns. According to Pro Football Focus, Bryant finished the season with a PFF overall grade of 53.5, a receiving grade of 54.0, and a rushing grade of 55.7.
On March 16th Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast our own Hondo Carpenter Sr had the opportunity to express his thoughts on Bryant and what he can bring to the Raiders as a tight end.
“Harrison Bryant really offers what the Raiders want. He can block, he’s a very good blocker and he can catch. He just hasn’t had a whole ton of opportunities to do that. I think it was a very solid signing.”
“Do I think he was the best free agent tight end available, no but he fit the need of exactly what the Raiders wanted so he was a great signing for the Raiders.”
Bryant will have the chance to pair alongside second-year tight end Mayer. Mayer finished his rookie season playing 14 games finishing with 27 receptions for 304 yards and scoring two receiving touchdowns. According to Pro Football Focus, Mayer finished with a PFF overall grade of 58.3 and a receiving grade of 66.1.
It will be exciting to see what this new tight-end duo will bring to the Silver and Black offense next season.
The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently have the No. 13 overall pick.
