Following several months of negotiations, Newcastle United has approved Dan Ashworth’s exit.
Following their interest, Manchester United expressed a desire to appoint the sporting director, whom Newcastle had placed on gardening leave.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is currently in charge of Old Trafford’s football operations, has expressed disapproval of PIF’s actions and expressed the hope that they would just let Ashworth quit despite his employment contract.
